Short Story Footprints

One night I had a dream. I dreamed I was walking along the beach with GOD... and across the sky flashed scenes of my life. For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand... one belonged to me and the other to GOD.

When the last scene of my life flashed in the sand, I noticed that at times along the path of life there was only one set of footprints. I also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of my life. This really bothered me and I questioned GOD about it.

"GOD, you said that once I decided to follow you, you would walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why. In times when I needed you most, you would leave me."

GOD replied, " My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never ever leave you during your times of trials and sufferings. When you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.

Vodka, Bear, Whisky or Rum or ...?

Welcome to issue #04

The title seems to be somewhat awkward but in todays post I will try to differentiate what are these and how these are different. Being a novice, I was unaware of the difference between these alcoholic beverages and did my little bit of researching for finding it.

What I found online:

Spirits:            Ingredients  -> Fermentation -> Distillation (e.g. Whisky, Rum, Vodka etc.)

Non-spirits:    Ingredients  -> Fermentation   (e.g. Beer, Wine etc.)

Whisky:

Grain mash such as barley, malted barley, rye, malted rye, wheat, and corn
 -> Fermentation -> Distillation

OR made by distillation of BEER.

Single malt whisky: From a single distillery and is made from a mash that uses only one particular type of malted grain.

Rum:

Byproducts of sugarcane, including sugarcane juice or molasses
-> Fermentation -> Distillation
So sweeter in taste.

Vodka:

Grains, potatoes and sometimes sugar or fruit
-> Fermentation -> Distillation

A simple explanation, not too much of writing

Quote of the Day

Albert Einstein

If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.

A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new.

Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school.

Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.

The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination.

North Korea and the facts about this weird country

Welcome to issue #03

Todays post is going to be about the east Asian country North Korea and its weird rules and regulations.

See what had happened to American college student who was imprisoned in North Korea in 2016 on a charge of subversion.

Quote of the Day

James Clear

“When you fall in love with the process rather than the product, you don’t have to wait to give yourself permission to be happy. You can be satisfied anytime your system is running.”

“When nothing seems to help, I go and look at a stonecutter hammering away at his rock, perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the hundred and first blow it will split in two, and I know it was not that last blow that did it—but all that had gone before.”

“Problem #1: Winners and losers have the same goals.”

“Be the designer of your world and not merely the consumer of it.”

“Success is the product of daily habits—not once-in-a-lifetime transformations.”

“If you want better results, then forget about setting goals. Focus on your system instead.”

Did We Know This About Indian Highways

Welcome to issue #02

We have a natural instinct of cursing those who made our roads or highways as the large craters, holes or bumpers made us to do that. But are we cursing the right authority for that. For example you are traveling on state highway and cursing NHAI.

So today i am going to differentiate the different highways or roads on the basis of Milestones. Some may know the nomenclatures and some may be unaware of it.

In India, on administrative basis, there are 3 kind of roads - the one maintained by the NHAI (Central body), the respective state government and the district administration. You might have come across the milestones also.

1. NATIONAL HIGHWAY
The one with Yellow and White Milestone.

2. STATE HIGHWAY
The one with White and Green Milestone.

3. CITY ROAD OR DISTRICT ROAD
The one with Black and White or Simply White Milestone

How I print on the right side of paper in every printout from printer

Welcome to the issue #01

Most of the time in office, i came across same question an umpteen number of times.
How to place the paper in the printer paper tray, so that the print can be taken correctly. Specially when people want to take print in the blank reverse side of the already printed paper.

Its always be a great task to know which side the printer will print in a page. Either in top or in bottom face. Generally we go through simple hit and trial method. Today i am going to disclose how to know which side the printer will print using only a sign on the printer.

Source:Wikimedia

Some printers print on front side while some on back of the paper.
So the solution is, try to find the below mentioned icon near your printer paper tray.

Scenario 01

You can see lines are on top, so it will print on front side of the paper if you place the blank side of paper in tray and if the icon doesn't have lines on paper but on left top corner like the scenario 02,

Scenario 02

it will print behind the paper.

Its been a long time when I last posted anything online in a blogging platform.
And for last few days I am just thinking of breaking that monotonous life of not writing anything.
So probably from today onwards I will try at my level best to provide you, rather myself, something some piece of life in the form of online blog.

Even though this blog post may not help you out in any form as depicted in the description of the blog
i.e.
"Marketplace for something productive, something useful, something entertaining....."
but this will motivate me to write something useful and fruitful.
A lot of changes and editing is still remaining with the website but with due course of time this will come to an end for sure.

Why NAGERBAZAR?

Their is no specific reason for selecting it thou. But reason could be that I recently bought a sweet little flat in the locality named as NAGERBAZAR in Kolkata (India).
I was searching for some domain name and found that this name is available and I booked it.
The name may be new and odd for many of us but its a name and easy to remember.

What I do?

I am an Engineer (not a software one) by profession and live in the city of joy KOLKATA.

So for the time being this much of information is enough, and if you are interested in knowing more you can comment and I will get back to you in some sort of communication.

The blog is in nascent stage and needs your support for its growth. Please share it with your near and dear ones.

Signing off
